(AP) - A former New Jersey lawmaker who hadchampioned bills aimed at fighting child pornography has pleadednot guilty to child porn charges. Neil Cohen pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges of officialmisconduct and possessing, reproducing and distributing images ofunderage girls engaged in sexual acts. Prosecutors say the 57-year-old Cohen admitted to viewing childporn but rejected a plea bargain. A judge says he can remain free without bail. However, Cohen isnot allowed to be around schools or playgrounds, access theInternet other than for business or have unsupervised contact withchildren under 16. The former Democratic assemblyman from Roselle faces up to 30years in prison if convicted on all charges.
