Mercer County prosecutors say a 41-year-old man from Ewing was found guilty in the June 2020 murder of his girlfriend.

Officials say Aaron Adams shot and killed his girlfriend Ashley Davis, 32, of Levittown, Pennsylvania. Davis' body was found in the basement of Adams’ home on Glen Stewart Drive.

Prosecutors say there were visible wounds to Davis’ body, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. During the search at Adams' home, officials say two air rifles and a handheld BB gun were in the same room where his girlfriend's body was located. Numerous used bags of suspected heroin with various stamps were also found in the search, officials say.

An investigation revealed Davis suffered a gunshot wound by a metal air gun pellet that caused massive internal bleeding, prosecutors say.

Adams faces life in prison and will be sentenced on Feb. 1, 2024.
