Environmentalists set up shop at Sea Bright Sunday to tell patrons to be more cautious and prevent pollution.
They are telling beachgoers not to bring items to the beach they don?t intend to throw out or carry home with them. They say all too often they pick up cigarette butts, bottles and plastic items.
A member of Clean Ocean Action says most of the beach pollution is due to laziness. She advises people to make the effort to throw out garbage and teach their children by example if they want to continue to see clean and beautiful beaches.
