A large-scale emergency response team drill temporarily shut down the Holland Tunnel early Sunday morning.
The Port Authority closed the eastbound lanes of the tunnel heading into New York, as well as local roads in Jersey City, just after midnight. The area has since reopened.
The training exercise tested how emergency responders would react after an act of terrorism.
The Port Authority says the drill is one of many conducted by the agency throughout the year.
