Three Township veterans were honored during street dedication ceremonies in the neighborhoods where they lived in Edison.
The streets where the men made their homes after serving, now have new names.
Carmello Drive and Partch Place was dedicated to U.S. Army Sergeant Earl F. Boland who served in World War II.
The street dedication of Daniel F. O'Leary, a master sergeant of the U.S. Army who served in the Vietnam War, took place at Lexington Avenue and Mineola Place.
A third veteran, Raymond A. Arway, who served as a 2nd class seaman in the U.S. Navy during World War II, was also dedicated at Amboy Avenue and 6th Street.
Each of the men's families were in attendance, and each say their loved ones would have been proud.
"Poppy may not be here with us today but we know he is here in spirit watching this happen," Ronica Reilly says.

The mayor estimates 100 streets have been renamed in town since the 1990s.
