A snowstorm that brought more than a foot of snow to parts of New Jersey has now cleared out of the area.
Many municipalities across the Garden State had schools and offices closed due to the conditions. Some residents in Edison Township used the day to spend time with their families.
“It’s been a lot of fun. We got out here around noon and it’s just beautiful snowman’s snow and moist and heavy,” says Deborah and George Leshchanka. “We tolerate the snow. We live in New Jersey, and we look forward to a moderate amount of snow.”
Parts of Sussex County saw up to 15 inches of snow, while areas of southern New Jersey saw mostly rain.
