A parade was held in Edison Thursday for the eighth birthday of a boy was diagnosed with a genetic disorder

As News 12 New Jersey reported a couple weeks ago, Jaxon Fuge is an avid collector of police patches.

Police surprised him with a parade for his birthday. Local fire and EMS department were also present for the celebration.

Jax was diagnosed with the genetic disorder when he was 5.

His family started a Facebook page to collect police patches, which have been coming from all over the world.
