Edison Fire Dept. mourns captain who passed away from COVID-19

The Edison Fire Department is mourning Capt. Richard Campbell who died last week from complications after contracting COVID-19.

 The Edison Fire Department is mourning Capt. Richard Campbell who died last week from complications after contracting COVID-19.
Campbell was a 28-year veteran firefighter. His colleague referred to him as a “fireman’s fireman” who always looked out for his men and made sure that they were safe.
He was also remembered as a tremendous leader.
Campbell comes from a family of firefighters. His father and brother were also in the profession.
Campbell leaves behind a wife and four children. He was 55 years old.
