Edison has decided to extend outdoor dining for its restaurants through the end of the year.
The moves comes to help restaurants continue to bring in more diners during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The town's original executive order permitting outdoor dining was originally set to expire at the end of the month, but the new order now extends it through Dec. 31
Application and approval fees have also been waived for businesses.
