Crews battled fire and ice, as flames tore through a Bergenfield home early Tuesday morning. Firefighters began arriving at the home on Roosevelt Avenue around 5 a.m., calling for mutual aid as smoke poured from the windows. Fire trucks lines the street as crews worked to douse the flames in the 2.5-story house. Fire crews from multiple towns including Dumont, Teaneck, Englewood and Tenafly also provided mutual aid. In a post on Facebook, Mayor Arvin Amatorio said so far, no injuries have been reported. "Our firefighters and first responders are working quickly and safely to contain the situation," Amatorio said. This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
