Crews battled fire and ice, as flames tore through a Bergenfield home early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters began arriving at the home on Roosevelt Avenue around 5 a.m., calling for mutual aid as smoke poured from the windows. Fire trucks lines the street as crews worked to douse the flames in the 2.5-story house.
Fire crews from multiple towns including Dumont, Teaneck, Englewood and Tenafly also provided mutual aid.
In a post on Facebook, Mayor Arvin Amatorio said so far, no injuries have been reported.
"Our firefighters and first responders are working quickly and safely to contain the situation," Amatorio said.
