New Jersey residents hitting the road for Memorial Day weekend will be paying a little more to get to their destinations.According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in the Garden State is $2.25. Last month, motorists paid an average of $1.92. Some drivers say they won't complain about gas prices because of how high it was last year. At this time last year, the average price of a gallon of regular gas was $3.72.AAA predicts there will be about 7 million people on the Garden State Parkway traveling for the holiday weekend.
