A single-vehicle crash left one person dead Wednesday night in Fair Lawn, according to police.

Authorities say they found the car overturned on Route 4. The driver suffered severe injuries and later died at the scene.

No other passengers were inside the vehicle.

The driver’s identity and the cause of the crash were not immediately clear.
