A driver who was involved in a fatal crash in Howell that left a pedestrian dead this weekend is now facing charges.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office says the woman who was behind the wheel has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
As News 12 has reported, the crash happened just after 12 a.m. Saturday at the intersection between Route 9 and New Friendship Road.
Prosecutors say Juanean Perez, of Jackson, struck the Freehold man in the southbound right lane.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity hasn't been released.
