Dr. Husain: It could be a while before children can receive COVID-19 vaccine

Education Ambassador Dr. Amna Husain says that it could be months before children are eligible for the vaccine.

The past two weeks has seen an influx of COVID-19 vaccinations for health care workers and first responders.
But Education Ambassador Dr. Amna Husain says that it could be months before children are eligible for the vaccine.
Currently the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are not approved for use for children or young teens.
Husain also speaks with News 12’s Kristina Behr about some of the concerns parents may have giving the vaccine to their children once it is available.
