‘Don't leave it for the last minute’: New Jersey residents, businesses prep for incoming snow
Residents across New Jersey are preparing for a significant snowstorm expected to impact New Jersey on Wednesday.
Hardware stores like Total Hardware Sayreville can feel the business boost from the impending snow, and perhaps some may be complacent, as last year wasn't so bad for snow. It’s best to at least be prepared with shovels and by testing your snowblower.
"Last year, we didn't get much snow, so I don’t want you to get surprised with a big storm this year,” says Alessandra Conte, owner of Total Hardware Sayreville. “Maybe, it’s good to be ready. Don't leave it for the last minute."
Parts of New Jersey could see up to 18 inches of snow on Wednesday. The heavy snow and strong winds could also cause power outages across the state.
