Emergency responders were called to Shore Drive in the Parkertown area of Little Egg Harbor earlier this morning to rescue a husky that had fallen through thin ice at a cranberry bog.
A rescue worker approached the dog and attempted to calm it down. The rescuer was then able to snatch up the pup, put him in a boat and bring him back to safety.
Officials say the dog is now at home recovering.
