Almost a month since the deadly stand-off that killed her husband, the widow of Jersey City Detective Marc DiNardo talks to News 12 New Jersey about life without her husband.
Marc DiNardo, a 10-year veteran, died of the injuries he sustained days after the shootout. Mary DiNardo describes the father of three as a funny, caring man who loved Pink Floyd and the Yankees.
DiNardo says she met her husband in 1989, but the two didn?t become close until 11 years later when her sister was killed in a car accident. She says it was Marc who pulled her through that tragedy.
The night before her husband was killed DiNardo says they spent some uninterrupted time together, something she will always treasure.
