They say in an investigation, Andrea and Phillip Torres arranged sham marriages for people who wished to remain in the United States. The pair 'recruited and paid' US citizens who were willing to marry their clients.

The Department of Homeland Security says a New Jersey mother and son have admitted to conspiring to commit marriage fraud in a scheme to harbor non-US citizens.
They say in an investigation, Andrea and Phillip Torres arranged sham marriages for people who wished to remain in the United States. The pair 'recruited and paid' US citizens who were willing to marry their clients.
Both will sentenced in December.
