Authorities have confirmed that a two-alarm fire which left four people dead in a Long Branch home has been ruled a murder-suicide.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office identified the deceased as Linden "Shane" Beharry, 35; Amanda Morris, 29; and their two children, Brian, 4, and Brandon, 7.
Prosecutors say all four were found with gunshot wounds inside a second-floor bedroom after the Tuesday fire was extinguished. Lyndon Beharry's was self-inflicted. The deaths of Morris and her two children were ruled a homicide.
Investigators have also determined that the fire was intentionally set. The outside of the home showed little fire damage and all of it was confined to the second floor.
