At least one person was arrested after federal agents found explosive chemicals inside a home in Totowa.
A spokesman for the Drug Enforcement Agency says that agents were serving a search warrant at a home on the 100 block of Hudson Avenue Wednesday afternoon. While agents were inside they came across a large amount of unknown chemicals.
Chemists from the DEA and New Jersey State Police Department were brought in to test the chemicals, which were determined to be chemicals used in a drug lab to make Ecstasy, opiates and crystal meth.
The DEA says that the air quality around the home was tested and there is no danger to the public.
At least one person was seen being taken from the home in handcuffs.
Information on what charges may be filed was not immediately made available.
