Crews worked Saturday to repair a 12-inch water main break in Newark.  

The main break occurred Saturday morning and caused a large hole in the street. Hill Street was closed off to traffic as crews worked to fix the issue.

Some residents said they did not have running water because of the break.

Resident Darrel Armstrong says the incident is the second in recent months on Hill Street.

The main break took workers several hours to repair.
