Veolia Water says that crews were able to repair the 8-inch water main after it broke. The water flowing from the break caused County Avenue to buckle.

The break impacted 35 customers, including the Alexander Hamilton Service Area. The rest stop was temporarily closed for a time.

The cause of the break was not immediately clear.
