A sharp, coldfront will deliver some brief quick moving gusty storms tonight and then damaging wind gusts overnight. There is a risk of isolated shows and even some low-topped thunderstorms, especially north of I-84. The rain won't last long, and there is a risk that some storms could have powerful wind gusts.
Winds will become more widespread after 9 p.m.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory starting at 8 p.m. and ending 8 a.m. Thursday. Winds will be west 20-30 mph with gusts up to 45-50 mph. The strongest winds will be along the coast.
The strongest winds hit overnight and then slowly come down a bit for the morning.
Thursday will be a windy day, too. Temperatures will only reach the lower 50s, and the winds will make it feel more like the 40s at times.
More rain heads our way late Friday into Saturday. There is also more rain heading our way with a second storm on Sunday.
Temperatures turn drastically colder early next week. By Veteran's Day, they will only be in the mid-40s during the daytime.
