Fair weather from the weekend is now moving offshore. The wind will be changing direction and allowing milder weather to consume the area.
Along with the milder weather, a spell of changeable skies will also anchor itself over the state. We can expect periods of showers on and off throughout the week, with Thursday being the wettest day.
Forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy and seasonable. Not as cool as last night but still a slight chill with an expected low of 62 degrees.
Tomorrow: Clouds collecting throughout the day, with a chance of showering after 2 p.m.
Favorable, warmer winds will help lurch the temperature into the high 79 degrees.
Wednesday: Mainly cloudy with on-and-off showers. More clouds than wet weather.
Thursday will be rainy.
Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures in the upper 70’s with sunshine. It will be warm for this time of year. The bees will be out if you are thinking about going apple picking.
