New Jersey will see mostly clear weather this weekend, but temperatures are supposed to drop.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that there is expected to be a 40-45-degree drop in temperatures over the next 24 hours. This comes as temperatures Friday reached the upper-80s and low-90s.
WHAT’S NEW: Temperatures to cool into the 60s and 70s for the weekend.
WHAT’S NEXT: Partly cloudy skies overnight, with temperatures cooling into the low-70s.
SATURDAY: Partly cloudy, with daytime high temperatures in the low-70s. Overnight lows could get down to around 56 degrees.
SUNDAY: Father’s Day will see mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper-70s. Overnight lows are expected to cool to around 54 degrees.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny skies, with highs in the low-80s. Overnight lows once again near 54 degrees.
TUESDAY: The first official day of summer. Cloudy skies and daytime highs around 77 degrees.
