A construction worker had to be rescued Wednesday from a crane after hurting himself high up in the sky in White Plains.

White Plains police and fire departments couldn’t confirm what started the incident.

A witness told News 12 the worker was walking along a catwalk, fell and broke his leg.

Firefighters went in with a rope and harness and slowly brought the worker down to the roof of a building.
