Five days of pounding rain and wind could have created much worse problems along the Jersey Shore.
News 12's Keith Kocinski checked out conditions in flood-prone areas along the shore. There was some minor flooding in spots, but Kocinski says it was not as bad as it was predicted to be.
One area that saw flooding was Long Beach Island. The heavy rain and strong winds caused beach erosion in the area.
The rain is expected to taper off sometime Wednesday, with nice weather in store for Thursday.
