King Arthur Flour, Inc. has expanded its voluntary national recall of specific lots of its unbleached all-purpose flour due to possible E. coli contamination.
The recall is an expansion from another recall announced back in June, and covers the five and 25-pound bags.
The E. coli was originally discovered through sampling.
The flour was distributed by King Arthur Flour, Inc. through retailers and distributors nationwide.
The company has not received any reports of illnesses.
Consumers who have any of the affected products should throw them away immediately.
For more information, check the FDA recall notice or King Arthur’s website.
