A local hangout that has been a cornerstone of Jersey City for nearly 75 years had its last call Sunday.
The farewell party at Brazicki’s Tavern overflowed into the streets on Liberty Avenue.
Four generations of Brazickis operated the taps at the corner tavern. The four siblings who ran the tavern said that now is the right time to step away.
The family says they are selling the license and will renovate the downstairs into a home.
