Cool and crummy weather gives way to milder conditions to end the week
While the temperatures rebound leading us into the weekend, there is a good chance there will be some wet weather for Sunday.

What a difference a day made. Yesterday, the afternoon highs were in the 70s and 80s. Today we were stuck in the muck. Overcast and drizzly all day long, with a wind off the ocean, allowed temperatures to only climb into the mid-40s. That is some 35 to almost 40 degrees colder today than yesterday.
Clouds will continue tonight. The winds will slowly veer to the south and temperatures will begin to slowly warm. The weather system that came through yesterday will now snap back northward through the state again and allow the milder, Carolina air back up the East Coast. Temperatures tonight under cloudy skies will be near normal for this time of year.
We will end the week with limited sunshine on Friday, but the daytime highs will be a little more welcoming. Typical afternoon highs run around 57 degrees. We should be at least 10 degrees warmer than that. While it will be cloudy for most of the day, I am expecting some hints of a brightening sky.
Saturday is the better day of the weekend. Clouds and sun will share the sky over New Jersey. Temperatures will be pleasant in the low 70s. There is a very, very small chance an isolated shower could quickly pop up. The shower chance is very small and very isolated. Hardly worth mentioning, but I don't want anyone caught off guard.
Easter Sunday comes with some weather issues. It appears a weather system will bring showers and possible thunderstorms into the area late in the morning (think after Sunday services) and linger into the mid-afternoon.
