The cold is going to be very stubborn throughout the weekend. Temperatures will likely stay below average until Tuesday of next week.
The weather pattern is also pretty active. Not for the development of big storms, but the atmosphere is primed for little "clippers" to skim the area. They don't have a lot of moisture with them, and they are moving quite fast, so expectations of accumulations would be at a minimum.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Cold through the weekend into early next week
- A chance for flurries late Saturday night. Then again, on Monday night
- Milder weather returns midweek. Temperatures expected to be in the upper-40s to low-50s Wednesday through next weekend.
- Sunshine doesn't share the headline with the warmup. Unsettled weather (on-and-off scattered showers) is possible Wednesday morning and then again Friday through the weekend.
