Strong winds and rough surf are caused beach erosion in the wake of a coastal storm that swept over New Jersey.
Several feet of Manasquan Beach were lost during this weekend's storm.
In Sea Bright, 10 to 12 foot waves crashed off-shore, but the beaches remained relatively intact.
In Asbury Park, high winds eroded about 20 to 40 feet of Fifth Avenue Beach.
Department of Public Works crews formed large sand dunes to help protect beachfront homes.
