The United States Coast Guard will be holding its last planned day of testimony on last year’s deadly Newark cargo ship fire.

The last day of testimony is expected to take place on Wednesday. The deputy chief of the Newark Fire Department will be testifying.

This is part of the ongoing investigation into the July 2023 fire that took the lives of two Newark firefighters.
