DROUGHT CONDITIONS:
Rain is unlikely for the next week, and drought conditions are expected to grow over the next week despite a few stray showers on Friday.
The United States Department of Agriculture's weekly Drought Monitor is released once a week on Thursday mornings. As of last week, 7% of the state was in drought located in North Jersey with "Abnormally Dry" conditions scattered across the state.
The chance for rain will increase late next week, although it's too far out for any specific details. Temperatures will remain near or below average for the next 10 days.
