It's finally back to the ballpark for Mets fans Thursday -- but there are a lot of changes fans will want to know about.
Crews worked tirelessly to prepare for the return of fans by disinfecting all over the place, and they'll continue to pay attention to high-touch areas throughout the game.
Capacity was capped at 20%, which means about 8,500 fans were allowed inside.
In order to attend, fans must prove they've either recently tested negative for COVID-19 or that they're fully vaccinated. Masks and social distancing are required.
Paper tickets are a thing of the past for now, with all tickets being sent digitally.
Concessions will be open -- but no cash is being accepted.
The virtual first pitch was featured three people who fought or helped in the fight against COVID-19, including a 16-year-old girl who was put on a ventilator and survived.
