Gov. Chris Christie told a crowd of GOP donors last night that Mitt Romney is the most qualified candidate to be their next president.
Romney and Christie appeared at a fundraiser in Parsippany that raised $1.1 million for the former Massachusetts governor's presidential campaign. Romney will use the money to compete in early primary states such as Iowa and New Hampshire.
General admission tickets went for $500 for the event at the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany. VIP receptions awaited those donating $2,500 or bundling such donations.
