(AP) - New Jersey Republican gubernatorialcandidate Chris Christie has picked a fellow lawyer for his runningmate. Kim Guadagno was a federal prosecutor before she was electedMonmouth County sheriff. In a video on Christie's networking sites, Guadagno says she'sproud to be running for lieutenant governor at a time in NewJersey's history where they'll have to make tough decisions. Christie and Guadagno plan to make campaign stops in AsburyPark, Woodbridge and Garfield Monday. Gov. Jon Corzine has yet to announce who his running mate willbe. This is the first time New Jersey residents will elect a lieutenantgovernor.
