The fourth annual STEM showcase brought students out to Hudson Elementary School in Union City.

Children in kindergarten through third-grade were presented with current world challenges. They were then asked to find the most sensible solution to the problems.

They also learned ways to make the community more self-sufficient in different ways.

Some of the topics covered at the showcase were robotics, making movies through coding, how different buildings are made and more.

STEM teachers say they want to expose students to the future at an early age.

Students who want to get involved in the STEM program should talk to their school principal. They can then sign up for the yearly program.
