Nearly 100 couples finally received their wedding photos and videos Saturday from Celebration Studios after waiting many months to see the memories of their special days.
The Morris County company declared bankruptcy in January of this year, leaving thousands of customers waiting for their wedding photos and videos and unsure if they would ever receive them. Saturday marked the first of many merchandise distribution days conducted by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
Officials say they expect to return photos and videos to 3,400 customers. It has taken the Division of Consumer Affairs 10 months to organize Celebration Studios? warehouses and, according to some former customers, they will not be receiving everything they paid for. Chris and Cassie Fabish were among the unlucky customers who paid over $3,000, but will not receive the photo albums they ordered.
