The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says it has confirmed a case of the "kissing bug" in Delaware.

As reported by News 12 New Jersey, there has been concern the bug is moving north.
According to the CDC, it’s the first time the bug has been found in Delaware.
The bug earned its name because it usually bites people on the face near their lips.
Some of the bugs can spread a potentially deadly illness known as Chagas Disease.
So far, there are no reported cases in New Jersey – but the CDC's online tracking map labels New Jersey as a "potential" for the bug.
The bug and disease are usually only found in the southern United States, and in South and Central America.
