A new report done by the CDC looked at adult physical inactivity in each state throughout the U.S., and New Jersey finished in the class where 25% to less than 30% of adults were physically inactive.
According to the study, overall, all states and territories had more than 15% of adults who were considered physically inactive.
The study shows the southern parts of the U.S. had the highest levels of physical inactivity.
Colorado, Washington, Utah, Oregon and the District of Columbia were the most active areas in the nation.
