Two cars caught fire outside the Equinox gym on Old Post Road in Fairfield.

The fire happened Tuesday morning.

Fire officials say one of the cars most likely had a mechanical issue and that's what started the fire.

No injuries were reported.

Officials say the cars' owners were inside Equinox when the fire started.
