An empty MTA bus was caught on camera early Wednesday morning rolling down a street block in New York City’s Brooklyn borough.
News 12 New Jersey learned the bus operator had parked the bus and exited the vehicle prior to it rolling backwards in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn.
Witnesses said the bus struck several parked cars before it crashed into the front of a church, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
One man who was changing a tire and had to jump out of the way of the bus went to the hospital. The extent of his injuries wasn’t clear. No one else was hurt.
No word yet on what caused the bus to roll backward.
