If you've ever dreamed of appearing in a Steven Spielberg movie, a "close encounter" with the legendary filmmaker may be in your future.
Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for extras to be part of a new UFO movie that's set to start filming in Cape May next month. The film, which has yet to be named, will star Emily Blunt, known for her roles in "Oppenheimer," "Into the Woods" and "The Devil Wears Prada."
The casting call is seeking locals of all ethnicities to play train passengers as well as drivers with cars. The tentative filming schedule is set for March 10-14 in Cape May County.
According to Grant Wilfley, no previous acting experience is necessary to snag one of the background actor roles. Anyone interested is asked to email nj@gwcnyc.com with the subject line "Cape May Local." Prospective extras will be asked to provide information including name, contact information, current, non-professional, unedited close-up and full-body photos and to include whether or not they have any visible tattoos.
Extras could earn a base salary of $216 for 8 hours of work, the casting call states.
In recent months, Grant Wilfley also called upon New Jerseyans to fill background roles for films being made throughout the state including a Bruce Springsteen biopic, and "Happy Gilmore 2" starring Adam Sandler.
