Residents were evacuated from their Hoboken neighborhood Friday afternoon when police locked down the streets to investigate a cache of weapons.
Authorities say they searched the home of Francis Kinney after witnesses saw him on his porch brandishing a gun. Police found more than 20 semi-automatic guns, shotguns and rifles, as well as antique grenades. When Kinney was searched, he was wearing a large knife.
Police locked down Garden Street between Sixth and Eighth streets while Kinney was being arrested.
