In some grocery stores, a few empty
shelves of some items may be seen, but it’s more so toys and other products
ordered online that may not be available.
Unlike the coronavirus pandemic
when manufacturing shut down worldwide, the issue continues to be getting
products to the shelves.
Many items sit in containers on
ships, waiting to be offloaded. Long shoremen in Los Angeles and Long
Beach have just been given the go-ahead to work 24 hours.
