A building crumbled in Newark after hours of rain drenched its exterior.
Emergency services were on scene near the corner of Frelinghuysen and Astor in Newark around 4 p.m.
Bricks from an old former firehouse collapsed onto the sidewalk below, forcing crews to seal off the street and the area. They remained on scene to monitor the building.
No one appeared to be hurt.
