Police have arrested a Crown Heights rapper in connection with the deadly T.I. concert shooting.
Police say 30-year-old Roland Collins, who is also known as Troy Ave, was arrested Thursday on weapons possession and attempted murder charges. They say more charges are possible.
The shooting happened around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in a third-floor green room area at Irving Plaza, near Manhattan's Union Square. It was not immediately known who had access to that area.
Police say 33-year-old Ronald McPhatter, of Brooklyn, was shot in the stomach. He was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later. A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was listed in critical condition. A 26-year-old woman and Troy Ave were both shot in the leg.
Multiple sources say Troy Ave shot himself in the leg.
Investigators say rappers with a long-standing feud began to fight before shots were fired.
