The Brooklyn Public Library opened their vinyl records collection for library patrons to rent on Tuesday.
Cardholders can now borrow from the collection of 400 records, which includes an array of genres.
The vinyl library is equipped with a listening station and turntables for visitors to use.
Madison and Ava are two 12-year-olds that said the new vinyl library is helping them find out all about new music.
“When I saw the Billie Eilish and [A$AP Rocky], I knew those things,” said Madison. “But when I saw the other record players and Bob Marley, it made me more excited to listen to it because I’ve never listened to it before.”
The records are now available, and the staff says the collection will not be going anywhere soon.
