Bridgewater man fatally struck by vehicle on I-287 exit ramp
Police say the victim was standing outside his disabled car.

A Bridgewater man died after police say he was struck by a vehicle on an I-287 exit ramp in Bridgewater Monday night when his car became disabled.
Vince M. Veglatte was driving a Chevrolet sedan on the exit ramp from 14B , I-287 north to US 22 west, when it became disabled, according to New Jersey State Police.
"Veglatte exited the vehicle and was standing outside the vehicle when a GMC SUV struck the rear of the Chevrolet, then struck Veglatte," state police said.
Veglatte suffered fatal injuries in the crash. State police said the Chevrolet's passenger and two passengers from the GMC also sustained minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
