Bridgeport police release photos to identify person of interest in P.T. Barnum homicide

Bridgeport police released pictures Wednesday of a person of interest in a fatal shooting at the P.T. Barnum housing complex earlier this month.
The pictures show a man wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts and black shoes. He appears to have facial hair.
Johnny Nesmith was killed on Aug. 9 at 1 a.m. outside of Building 21 shortly after a reunion of residents and former residents. Police say Nesmith previously lived at P.T. Barnum.
Police say numerous people were around Nesmith when he was shot, but no one else was struck by gunfire.
Anyone who may have cell phone video that they believe can assist in the investigation is asked to email the video to jeffrey.holtz@bridgeportct.gov.
